Early warning signs include an increase in formal disputes, a slowdown in innovation, and a growing sense of fragmentation. The once-vibrant network becomes a collection of isolated silos, each pursuing its own narrow interests, blind to the larger whole. The system loses its ability to adapt, and when faced with the unexpected, it shatters.
